Catherine of Aragon:

Catherine of Aragon was born 16 December 1485, she was the daughter of the powerful monarchs Isabella of Castille and Ferdinand of Aragon. 1501 she married Henry VIII:s older brother Arthur, Prince of Wales. Arthur died in 1502. According to Catherine the marriage was never consummated. Arthurs brother Henry VIII became king in 1509 and married Catherine 11 June 1509. On 18 February 1516 their only surviving child Mary I was born. Catherine was pregnant several times but she either miscarried or the child did not survive infancy. In 1526 Henry VIII started to woo Anne Boleyn. Catherine was at this time unable to bear children and had not given Henry a son and heir. Henry wanted his marriage annulled on the grounds that he had married his brothers wife, which according to a passage in the Bible will make a couple childless. 1531 Henry banished Catherine from court. Catherine died 7 January 1536.

This is the first dungeon synth record I properly fell in love with after I discovered this genre by accident through Bandcamp. Being very new to dungeon synth I don't qualify to comment on the musical intricacies of the album but I know good music when I hear it, and this is it! Give it a spin. maroutas
